Please join us in congratulating Varsity Football player Zymere Smith, who broke an almost 40-year-old record this weekend!
Scoring 5 TDs on the road against Waterloo, Zymere now has 34 total TDs on the year! That surpasses Tim Sharp's record set in 1984.
Not only that but he also broke ANOTHER school record: Rushing yards in a season set by state champion Tysean Harris in 1993. Smith’s 241 yards put him at 1,794. That breaks Harris’ mark of 1,680.
Zymere has been a great leader, helping to lead the Eagles to a 7-0 record!
