Chris is the Director of Special Education and Pupil Personnel Services for Clyde-Savannah. He is also the Chairperson for the Committee on Special Education and Preschool Special Education. Originally hired by Clyde-Savannah as a 6th grade teacher 24 years ago, Chris has also taught 5th grade, reading intervention, and high school students as a Global 10 and U.S. History teacher. Chris attended SUNY Potsdam as an undergraduate, and SUNY Oswego for his Master’s program. The University of Rochester is where Chris earned his Certificate of Advanced Study in Building and District Leadership. Clyde-Savannah hosted his internship experience, and from there he served in a multitude of roles, including summer school principal and MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) Coordinator. When not at school, you may find Chris riding his motorcycle, snowmobile, or hiking the many trails in our area. Chris lives with his wife, Erin, of ten years. He has two stepsons, Justin and Jacob, and a Jack Russell Terrier named Lovey. Something you may not know about Chris is that he conducted the wedding ceremony of his wife’s best friend.
