In addition, Clyde-Savannah has been nationally recognized as a Let’s Move Active School for two years in a row and this year is also celebrating bronze recognition as a Healthy School! (Check out the map!)   Both of these awards were received by C-S with a letter from the White House congratulating our efforts to help students live their healthiest lives.

Our food service director, Donna Riviello, was named the New York State Food Service Director of the Year for her outstanding innovative and proactive measures for child nutrition!

Even the staff has been recognized for their efforts, being named a Fit Friendly Worksite by the American Heart Association!

The PEP grant has contributed to a cultural shift in wellness at Clyde-Savannah and we couldn’t be happier with the programs and resources that have been building over the past two years!

Stay tuned for updates and opportunities on how to get involved with PEP this coming school year.
