About Us

Clyde-Savannah Central School District is located in rural upstate New York midway between Rochester and Syracuse. The District serves students Pre-Kindergarten through grade 12 living in portions of southeastern Wayne County and northwestern Seneca County. Clyde-Savannah School District has two buildings: Clyde-Savannah Elementary (Pre-K through 5) and Clyde-Savannah Junior-Senior High School (Jr. High 6 - 8, Sr. High 9 - 12).

The village of Clyde and town of Savannah are located in Wayne County. Our community is rich with agriculture and small industry, home to companies which produce materials for aerodynamics and electronics industries. Many of our residents commute to urban settings for work, but especially love coming home to a small-town, neighborly community. In addition to the several educational, recreational, cultural, and historical activities in nearby Rochester and Syracuse, our community is home to the Montezuma Wetlands and Audubon Nature Center.

Clyde-Savannah schools receive recognition for its commitment to health and wellness, recently honored by First Lady Michelle Obama's Let's Move! campaign and the Alliance for a Healthier Generation.

Mission Statement: To ensure that each student receives a 21st Century learning experience that develops the mastery of the skills necessary to think, work, play, and compete within a global community.
